Training & Workshops

Concordia offers a variety of keynotes, professional development workshops, and facilitator certification training programs designed to inspire and engage participants in the fundamental aspects of entrepreneurial thought, process, and culture. Below is a brief overview of our services.

Keynote

Stakeholder engagement is essential to bring about organizational change. A keynote is designed to inspire and engage a broad audience in the entrepreneurial mindset by redefining entrepreneurship in a way that anyone can embrace. Participants will also be introduced to the key constructs behind the entrepreneurial mindset and how it can be applied.

Workshops

Organizational change begins with organizational culture. Concordia’s interactive and engaging workshops are designed to transform organizational culture through an entrepreneurial mindset. Workshops can be tailored to meet specific audience needs and can range from two to three hours of delivery. Sample workshops are provided below:

Leading with an Entrepreneurial Mindset
An entrepreneurial mindset has become essential for individual and organizational success in today’s rapidly changing, highly-complex world. In this session, participants will learn how entrepreneurial attitudes, behaviors, and skills can develop the leadership skills needed to lead in the 21st Century. Participants will understand how entrepreneurial skills are developed by exploring the entrepreneurial process in three distinct phases including finding a problem, identifying a solution, and making connections that create value.

Inside the Entrepreneurial Mindset
In this session, we will examine the origins and evolution of an entrepreneurial mindset: the underlying and often subconscious beliefs and assumptions and other psychological factors that influence entrepreneurial attitudes and behavior. Participants will explore concepts such as perceived locus of control, self-efficacy, resiliency, motivation, and fixed/growth mindset. In this session, participants will discuss social, environmental, and situational factors that either encourage or inhibit the development of entrepreneurial attitudes, behavior, and skills.  

Entrepreneurial Mindset Certification Training

Ice House Entrepreneurship Programs are experiential, problem-based learning programs designed to inspire and engage participants in the fundamental aspects of an entrepreneurial mindset. In a train the trainer format, the Entrepreneurial Mindset Facilitator Certification Training is designed to equip facilitators with the necessary tools and techniques to effectively implement the Ice House Program in their organization. Participants who successfully complete the training program will become authorized to facilitate the Ice House Programs and will receive an official Entrepreneurial Mindset Facilitator Certificate. You can join our upcoming training or arrange for an onsite certification training in your own organization.

Consulting & Coaching

The decision to implement an entrepreneurial mindset training or curriculum within your organization is just the beginning. It’s important to establish the outcomes you want to achieve and the evaluation tools you will incorporate to demonstrate success. And, the key to achieving those outcomes is an effective implementation. Concordia can assist with outcomes establishment, evaluation tools, a program implementation plan, data gathering, and a final report on the success of your effort. The final report will include strengths and areas for improvement moving forward. In addition, ongoing coaching can be provided for organizational Opportunity Discovery Process Projects.
