John's advice for future students...
If you're still taking prerequisites, lean into your Anatomy & Physiology courses - they are imperative for doing well." All prerequisites are important, but A & P and Developmental Psychology seemed especially important.
If you have some clinical experience (CNA, scribe, personal care technician) prior to the program it will help you to be more comfortable when starting clinical rotations.
Be prepared - the curriculum is rigorous, so you need to have good time management skills and know your priorities. You are doing two years of coursework in one, so things other than school might need to sit on the back burner. If you want to do well, you need to devote yourself to the program. The 12-month timeline is demanding, but worth it.
The nursing faculty at Concordia are experienced instructors and strong, consistent advisors.
meetConcordia students will be prepared to face life’s unscripted challenges and thoughtfully influence the affairs of the world.
